Early Bird

Surprised myself this morning.  I was up, showered and out the door to go to market by 7:30.   Got all my shopping done and home by 9:30.  I'm proud of myself.

A Little Chuckle

THE CHICKEN FARMER

Farmer John once lived on a quiet rural highway but as time went by, the traffic slowly built up and eventually got so heavy and so fast that his free range

chickens were being run over, at a rate of three to six a week.

So Farmer John called the local police station to complain. "You've got to do something about all these people driving so fast and killing all my chickens" he said to the local police officer.

"What do you want me to do?" asked the policeman.

"I don't care, just do something about those crazy drivers!"

So the next day the policeman had the Council erect a sign that said:

SCHOOL CROSSING

Three days later Farmer John called the policeman and said, "You've still got to do something about these drivers. The ‘school crossing' sign seems to make them go even faster!"

So again, they put up a new sign:

SLOW: CHILDREN AT PLAY

That really sped them up. So Farmer John called and said, "Your signs are no good. Can I put up my own sign?"

In order to get Farmer John off his back he said, "Sure. Put up your own sign.”

The phone calls to the Police Station stopped, but curiosity got the better of the Officer, so he called Farmer John. “How’s the problem with the speeding drivers?

Did you put up your sign?"

"Oh, I sure did and not one chicken has been killed since then.

The policeman was really curious and thought he'd better go out and take a look at the sign. He also thought the sign might be something the Police could use elsewhere, to slow drivers down.

So he drove out to Farmer John's house.  His jaw dropped the moment he saw the sign.

Summer is Back

I love the summer... actually I like the heat of the summer, NOT the humidity.  Have a headache today.

Went to the theater last night and watched "The Butler"... what a powerful movie!  Definitely one for my movie collection.

This Canadian beer commercial came out in 2006.  Immediately my American relatives put in their two cents by telling us how arrogant and self righteous we were.  My retort was to laugh and comment, "Look who's calling the kettle black."  It's still funny today.

Gratitude is a Great Multiplier

Gratitude is the great multiplier.

''When you open your eyes in the morning, sit for a moment and appreciate the gift of a new day, create a peaceful thought and enjoy some moments of silence throughout the whole day.''

What you continually give to your body with your beliefs or strong feelings, you receive in your body. Every feeling you have saturates every cell and organ in your entire body.

When you give negative thoughts and feelings of what you don't want , the force of health to your cells reduces !When you feel love for anything- for a sunny day,new house , friend,or promotion-your body receives the full force of health.

Gratitude is the great multiplier, so say thank you for your health every single day.

Say thank you with all your heart for what you do like about your body, and ignore the things you don't like.

Your body will change into whatever you want, through your feelings of love and gratitude.

If you are facing illness, do your best not to own it with your thoughts and words.Instead , give love to health, own health, and make it yours.
